1 Engineering student drowns in sea, another goes missing

Puri: In a saddening incident, one of the three students of a Bhubaneswar-based private engineering college drowned today in sea while another went missing near the Mangala river mouth in Puri.

The third one was rescued by locals.

The mishap took place when the three students, who had gone to the spot for a picnic, went into the sea to take bath.

The Mangala river mouth is around seven km away from the Puri town.
