Body of unidentified man found in Berhampur

Berhampur: Body of an unidentified man was recovered from a drain on Gada Humma-Kala Jamuna road under Rambha police limits in Berhampur today.

After getting information, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Ramesh Chandra Sethi and Rambha Police Station in-charge, Krushna Chandra Sethi reached the spot and sent the body to MKCG Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.

According to sources, the hands and legs of the man were tied and the injury marks indicated that he might have been attacked with a sharp weapon.

Even though the identity of the victim has not been ascertained, police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the death.
