Bodies of youth, woman found hanging in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth and a woman whose bodies were found hanging near Gumidara village under Papadahandi police limits in the district today. The deceased, identified as Banabasi Dandasena and Swati Paika were reportedly  in a relationship.

A few locals initially spotted the bodies of Banabasi and Swati hanging from a tree near the village and informed the family members of the duo.

Though it is still unclear whether they committed suicide or were killed by someone, it is suspected they took the extreme step after their family members opposed their relationship.

After receiving information, Papadahandi police reached the spot and initiated a probe.
