Bodies of missing boy, girl found in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Palpable tension prevailed at Dolasahi area in Bhadrak after bodies of a minor boy and girl, who were missing since October 3, were recovered under mysterious circumstances from the backyard of a school today.

Earlier, family of the deceased girl had filed a missing complaint at Bhadrak Rural police station. Later, basing on the complaint, the boy’s father was interrogated yesterday by police in connection with the incident.

Sources said both the boy and girl were allegedly into a love relationship and might have committed suicide after being pulled up by respective families.

Villagers on the other hand suspect it to be a murder case and have demanded for a detailed investigation.

“We suspect that some miscreants might have disposed the bodies here after murdering the duo," said a villager.

Though the exact reason behind the deaths is still unclear, senior police officials have sent the bodies for post-mortem.

"The bodies have been sent for post mortem after which the exact reason behind the deaths can be ascertained," said Chandbali SDPO, Tarun Das.
