Devbrat Patnaik

Kendrapara: One of the most sensitive among the coastal belts, Kendrapara parliamentary constituency this elections, has undoubtedly turned out to be the political hotbed of Odisha. Amid intensified campaigning by all three major political parties, BJP national vice-president and Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant Panda today expressed apprehension that BJD is conspiring an attack on its supremo and CM Naveen Patnaik to seek sympathy votes.

As the CM began his campaign trail in Kendrapara today, Jay Panda took to Twitter to urge all the members of the BJP to stay alert so that they would not be falsely blamed in case of a 'possible planned attack'.

Speaking about the rumours, Panda further mentioned that he has always taken a stand against such attacks by/on anyone.

Not to forget, he himself has been a victim of 'BJD's real attack with eggs and stones' in his constituency.

"Hearing rumours of BJD planning a staged egg attack on CM to seek sympathy votes. Tho I've been a victim of BJD's REAL attack with eggs & stones (caught on live tv!), I've always taken a stand against it by/on any1. Urging all @BJP4Odisha to stay alert & not be falsely blamed," tweeted Panda.

However, BJD's response could not be obtained.

The CM began his campaign trail in the constituency from Hariabanka to Garadpur through Marsaghai and Haldigada to woo the voters in favour of his party.
