Balasore: BJD MLA from Jaleswar, Aswini Patra, was heckled during 'Mu Hero, Mu' Odisha program in Sanpria panchayat in Balasore yesterday. Alleging that no development work has been done in the panchayat even after two years of elections, some locals staged a protest.

The agitators raised slogans against the MLA and the State government over delay in construction of panchayat office and alleged that no development work has been done under 14th Finance Commission.

According to sources, supporters of the MLA clashed with the protesters following which Patra had to leave the program.
