Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of BJP, today lashed out at the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the inefficiency on part of the State government to create employment opportunities. The policies of the State government are against youth and it has led to the dismal state of employment scenario in Odisha, BJYM leaders said today.

"Youths of the State seek answer from the CM on the unemployment issue. Letters addressed to the CM will be posted from all the 8,390 post offices across the State seeking answers on three main issues," said BJYM chief Tankadhar Tripathy.

"We just want to know when will the Odisha government return Rs 100 which was collected from youths of Odisha in the name of job fair and when will the 22 lakh jobless youths of the State get employments. The CM should answer all these questions though letter and we hope he will reply," Tripathy added.

Responding to the allegations, BJD spokesperson Sasmit Patra said that BJP should first introspect before blaming the BJD.

"Instead of writing to Odisha CM, BJP Yuva Morcha should write letters to PM Narendra Modi and ask when the 2 crore job per year promise will be fulfilled," said Patra, adding that the BJP's youth wing should also ask the PM about the number of people who have got jobs in the past five years.
