Bhubaneswar Sees Slight Dip In Covid Cases

Bhubaneswar: The Corona graph today witnessed a downward trend with 809 COVID positive cases which have been reported in last 24 hours.

With the new cases, the active caseload in the Capital city climbed to 8,378. Out of the new cases, 119 persons are in quarantine while the rest 690 are local contact cases.

Maximum 55 cases have been reported from Old town area followed by Patia which reported 49. As many as 42 fresh cases have been detected from Khandagiri area while Nayapalli saw 46 infections. As many as 32 persons have tested positive in Chandrasekharpur area in last 24 hours.

Similarly, Jaydev Vihar reported 16 cases and Laxmi Sagar witnessed 15 cases.

As many as 598 patients have recovered during the time.
The death toll due to Covid has reached 266 with one more fatality in the city.

So far, 46,317 COVID positive cases have been detected in the city out of which 37,652 have recovered, 266 have succumbed and 8378 are under treatment, at present.
