Bhubaneswar: Saheed Nagar-Satsang Vihar Foot Over Bridge Gets NHAI Nod

Bhubaneswar: The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has approved the construction of a foot over bridge between Saheed Nagar and Satsang Vihar park in Bhubaneswar.

According to a notification issued by the NHAI, the estimated cost of the bridge will be Rs 1.25 crore.

"The approval of Competent Authority is conveyed herewith for the estimated cost of Rs. 1.25 crore towards the construction of foot over bridge at km. 1+300 in between Saheed Nagar and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Park near Satsang Vihar, Bhubaneswar on Chandikhole- Jagatpur- Bhubaneswar section of NH-5 (New NH-16) under COS to the Concessionaire," the notification issued by the NHAI read.

Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi expressed happiness over the announcement and said it will fulfil the long pending demand of people of the constituency.

"Am glad that a long pending demand of people of my Bhubaneswar Constituency is met- the construction of a Foot Over Bridge for Rs 1.25 crore between Saheed Nagar & Satsang Vihar. Grateful to NHAI for responding to my request. Development is the main agenda," the Parliamentarian tweeted.
