Bhubaneswar: With 329 new COVID19 positive cases getting detected in the last 24 hours, the total cases in the city rose to 22,876, according to the data shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Of the fresh cases, a whopping 219 were local contact cases while the remaining 110 were quarantine cases, the civic body said in a tweet.

Bhubaneswar also registered 341 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Total recoveries in the city currently stand at 19, 255.

Earlier in the day, Odisha reported a surge of 3,053 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 2,29,387. Khordha district recorded a maximum of 561 cases followed by Cuttack with 256 cases.
