Bhubaneswar Covid-19 Caseload Drops Below 2K With 88 New Cases, 230 Recoveries

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Capital recorded less than 100 cases for the second consecutive day with 88 testing positive for the viral infection on Tuesday.

Of the total new cases, 71 were local contact cases while the remaining 17 were under quarantine, informed the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

The city also registered 230 recoveries. With fewer new cases and significant recoveries, the total number of active cases in the city dropped below the 2000 mark to 1996.

The total Covid-19 tally reached 28782 while 26607 people have recovered so far. The death toll in Bhubaneswar stands at 158.
