Barsha Priyadarshini Seeks Protection, Police Reach MP Anubhav Mohanty's House

Cuttack: In a new twist to the domestic violence case filed by Ollywood actor Barsha Priyadarshini against husband and MP Anubhav Mohanty, the actress on Monday sought police protection.

As per reports, Barsha sought protection by calling the Purighat police over the phone. The cops from the police station soon reached the actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty's residence at Nandi Sahi in Cuttack in response to the distress call made over the emergency 100 number.

Earlier today, Cuttack District Protection Officer recorded the statement of Barsha at her in-law's house in Nandi Sahi.

Meanwhile, MP Anubhav Mohanty said that it's his personal matter and as the matter is in court, the truth will prevail.

He further said that the health condition of his father is not that good and the matter shouldn't be sensationalised for TRP.
