Puri: The Bagala Dharmashala land row fails to die down with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) deciding to launch a Padyatra from Puri to Bhubaneswar and meet the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday.

Sources said, the BJP leaders and workers begin their padyatra from Srimandir in Puri to the CM’s residence in Bhubaneswar to meet him. They will be submitting a memorandum of demands and the signatures collected in a campaign against the alleged sale of Dharmashala land.

“The party has decided to launch the Padyatra to protect the Dharmashala land which is tied to the sentiments of the Lord Jagannath devotees.”
