Bhubaneswar: Alleging the involvement of the ruling-Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the attack during Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda’s roadshow in Aul of Kendrapara district last evening, a delegation of Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) led by party's vice-president  Samir Mohanty moved to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Odisha today.

The saffron party’s vice-president alleged that the members of Biju Yuva Vahini (BYV) disrupted Jay Panda’s roadshow by attacking BJP workers & ransacking their vehicle.  Mohanty alleged that BJD leaders have become violent and attacking the BJP workers even in the presence of police, while the cops are remaining silent.

He further said that the people of the state will give a befitting reply to the regional party in the on-going elections.

However, BJD’s response to saffron party’s allegations could not be obtained.
