Bhubaneswar: The practical exams of Plus II courses, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha began today. As many as 2,72,500 students from different streams are appearing the practical examinations.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has made elaborate arrangements for the examinations, which will continue till February 8, 2019.

To ensure free and fair conduct of examination and prevent any illegal practices, 24×7 CCTV surveillance has been put in place at all the centres. Besides, the Board has formed three-tier squad system to prevent malpractice, informed sources.

As per reports, this year a total of 3,67,500 students from Science, Commerce and Arts streams will appear the annual Plus II examination in as many as 1,091 exam centres across the State.

The theory examinations will begin from March 7 and continue till March 30, 2019.
