Bhubaneswar: Motorists keep your eyes and ears open if you are hitting the road early in the morning hours as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued dense fog alert for several districts of Odisha.

As per the latest weather bulletin issued by the IMD on Thursday, dense fog cover is likely to prevail over six districts tomorrow. A yellow warning has been issued in this regard for the districts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Kendrapara and Nayagarh.

'Shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur at a few places in the early morning over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara,Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur,Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri and at one or two places in the early morning over the districts of Kandhamal, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Boudh, Angul and Dhenkanal in the next 24 hours' stated a weather bulletin issued by the IMD.

Full weather outlook for the next couple of days:

Day 1 (Valid from 8.30 am of December 11 to 8.30 am of December 12)

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places in the early morning over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara,Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur,Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri,Ganjam, Gajapati and at one or two places in the early morning over the districts of Kandhamal, Rayagada, Boudh, Angul, Kalahandi and Dhenkanal.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog likely to occur in Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Puri, Khurda and Nayagarh.

Day 2 (Valid from 8.30 am of December 12 to 8.30 am of December 13)

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places in the early morning over the districts Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Khurda and Puri.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri and Kandhamal.
