Album actress death: Last voice message of Simran goes viral

Sambalpur: A day after popular Sambalpuri album actress Simran was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Sambalpur, a voice message of the actress has now gone viral on social media. It is suspected that the deceased actress, Simran had recorded the voice message few hours before her death.

Simran's mutilated body was recovered from under Mahanadi River Bridge near Goira Matha in Sambalpur yesterday.

Sources said the voice message was sent by Simran to one of her friends. Though it is not clear when the voice message was sent, it is supposed to have been recorded when Simran was returning to her home by train on the day of incident.

In the audio clip, the actress claimed that she was mentally depressed and had decided to leave everyone.

Earlier, police suspected it to be a case of suicide while the family members of the deceased actress alleged that Simran was murdered and her husband was behind it.

Simran's mother Rani Devi informed that her daughter had married a youth against their family’s wish last year and was being tortured by her husband and in-laws.

Senior police officials informed that the exact reason behind the death of the actress will be ascertained after receiving the post mortem report while further investigation into the incident is on.
