Administration begins probe into death of two students in Koraput

Jeypore: The Koraput district administration has started probe into the tragic wall collapse incident at Thuria residential school in which two students were killed on Saturday. A detailed investigation will be conducted to ascertain under what circumstances the two Class V students died in the incident, informed Koraput ADM Debendra Kumar Pradhan.

The two deceased students have been identified as Tuna Khara and Subas Khara.

Moreover, action will be taken after getting the probe report while financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each has been provided to family members of the deceased students, Pradhan added.

On the other hand, police have registered an unnatural death case and started an investigation into the matter. “The police team has visited the spot and the hospital as part of the investigation. We are waiting for the post mortem report to reach a conclusion,” said V.R.Rao, Additional SP, Koraput.
