Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor-comedian Papu Pom Pom, who was admitted at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi after suffering from pancreatic disease, was discharged and returned to Odisha today.
In a heartfelt video, Papu thanked his well-wishers and Lord Jagannath for his recovery.
"Doctors were saying that it was almost impossible for me to recuperate, but because of your love, wishes and Lord Jagannath's blessings I have returned home today after undergoing treatment for two months,” Papu said.

In May, the actor was airlifted to New Delhi after spending nearly three days in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
At AIIMS, he was admitted into the Gastrology department of the hospital and was being treated by a team of nearly 10 doctors.
Several actors and colleagues of Papu had raised Rs5 lakh through various charities and donated the amount for his treatment.
