Bhubaneswar: Police have identified the two miscreants accused of firing at a hotel owner near Kalinga Studio in Khandagiri area on Thursday night.

The owner of the Dhaba, who was critically injured in the attack, has been able to identify the accused from the CCTV footage following which police have launched a manhunt to nab the miscreants.

In the CCTV footage, the two accused could be seen buying liquor from a shop before entering the hotel. They have been identified as local residents of Khandagiri.

"We have got definite clue about the miscreants who fired at the hotel owner and we are trying our best to arrest them as early as possible," Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Anup Kumar Sahu said.

According to sources, the incident occurred at around 10:30 PM on Thursday night after the two miscreants, who lost their cool for delay in getting ‘chicken pakoras’ fired at the hotel owner.
