Bhubaneswar: Global management consulting and technology service leader Accenture on Wednesday expressed interest in entering mobile commerce and skill development activities in the state.

Accenture`s country managing director Avinash Vashist said this while meeting Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here said "We consider Odisha as a high-performance state where we would like to have a presence.

"We would like to be a partner in mobile commerce and mobile e-governance," he said adding that much government and commercial work could be done easily with the help of e-mobile service.

Vashist proposed to enter into skill development activities through IIIT and Centurion University.

"The state government will consider the proposal of Accenture," IT secretary P K Jena said.
