4 Prison Personnel From Odisha To Get President’s Correctional Service Medals

Bhubaneswar: Four prison personnel from Odisha will be conferred with the Correctional Service Medals by President Ram Nath Kovind on the occasion of Independence Day on Saturday.

The four personnel who have been selected for the awards are Sub Assistant Jailor Saroj Kumar Lenka, Chief Warder Tarini Charan Hotta, Assistant Matron Ashima Kumari Mishra and Warder Gagesh Behera.

While Lenka and Hotta will receive the President’s Correctional Service Medals for Distinguished Service, Mishra and Behera will be conferred with the Correctional Service Medals for Meritorious Service.

As many as 55 prison personnel from across the country will be awarded “Correctional Service Medals” on the occasion.
