Bhubaneswar: As many as 30 persons were injured, five of them critically, after a truck rammed into three busses at Tamando Chhak on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. All the injured have been shifted to various hospitals in the city.

The accident occurred near the Tamando Flyover at around 4 AM this morning. A bus named Chakadola coming from Phulbani rammed into the back of another bus named Raja, which was coming from Brahmanigaon. Minutes after, a bus named Nilakantha coming from Bhanjanagar hit a truck from the back near the spot where the first accident took place.

The driver of Nilakantha Bus was stuck inside the truck and was rescued after a prolong operation by fire tenders, ODRAF and Police officials.

Vehicular traffic was affected for around 2 hours on the busy national highway because of the accident.
