3 Minor Boys Swept Away In Canal In Cuttack, 1 Missing

Cuttack: Three minor boys were today swept away in Kendrapara canal near Birupa river in Jagatpur here while they were bathing in the water body.

As per reports, the trio from Nanakara village near Jagatpur accidentally slipped into deep waters while bathing in the canal this morning. Hearing their screams, a few locals jumped into the waters and managed to rescue two of them, while search operation is on for the missing boy.

Till the filing of this report, fire services personnel were engaged in searching the missing boy. It is ascertained that he has drowned in the canal.
