Cuttack: As many as 12 students of a private college in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area have tested positive for SARS-n-CoV.

In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 from the students, the CMC authorities have reportedly lodged the students under quarantine at the college hostel.

According to official sources, the students underwent rapid antigen tests after showing some symptoms of the viral infection. Later, their test reports came out to be positive.

CMC officials have informed that the contact tracing of the infected students will be carried out as per the protocols issued by the Health department and accordingly steps will be taken.
