Balasore: A ten-year-old boy was critically injured in a dynamite explosion at Patharagumura village under Matiali panchayat of Balasore district today.

The victim identified as Milan, son of Arjun Singh of the village has been admitted to Nilgiri hospital and is stated to be critical, reports said.

According to sources, Milan had found and brought the dynamite from the nearby Nuapadhi mines yesterday.

While connecting a battery to the dynamite today, it exploded injuring Milan critically. Milan suffered injuries on his stomach and hands.
