Bolangir: Ten migrant labourers including three children were rescued by the Khaprakhol police in Bolangir district while being trafficked to Hyderabad last evening.

As per reports, the rescued labourers are residents of Bargarh district and were being taken to Hyderabad of Telangana with the help of a middleman to work at a brick kiln.

On the basis of a tip-off, the police searched a vehicle near Bada Gurjibhata village and asked for necessary documents to the middleman. However, he could not produce the documents following which he was detained by police alongwith the driver of the vehicle for questioning.

The cops rescued the migrant labourers and sent them to their respective village with the help of officials of the Bargarh district administration.
