For Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Mayor post, a total of 16 candidates, including eight independent, are in the race. While the BJD has fielded Subhas Singh as its Mayor candidate, senior Congress leader Giribala Behera is the face of the grand old party. Similarly, BJP has trusted actor-turned-politician Sritam Das for the Mayor post. Over 4.5 voters will cast their votes in 59 wards to elect their new mayor.
