Under the influence of a western disturbance, several parts of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall next week.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday said that there will be no large change in the minimum temperature (Night Temperature) over the districts of Odisha during the next five days. However, several parts of the state will experience dense fog during night and early morning hours for the next couple of days.

Apart from this, there is possibility of light to moderate rainfall in several parts of the state around January 17, 2023.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Keonjhar, Jajpur,Bhadrak, Khordha, Nayagarh, Kandhamal.

Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 14.01.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 15.01.2023)

Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Khordha, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal.

Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 15.01.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 16.01.2023) Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Keonjhargarh.

Day-4 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 16.01.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 17.01.2023): Dry Weather

Day-5 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 17.01.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 18.01.2023)

Light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhargarh, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Dhenkanal.
