The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday informed that the minimum temperature observed appreciable fall at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha. On the other hand, the minimum temperature registered an increase at a few places over the districts of North Interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha.

The IMD further informed that there will be no large change in the minimum temperature during the next 4-5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha.

The weather agency has issued a yellow warning for dense fog in several parts of Odisha in the next 48 hours.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Koraput, Kandhamal, Rayagada.

Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 06.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 07.02.2024)

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi.

Day 6 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 10.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 11.02.2024)

Light rain/thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Nuapada.

Day 7 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 11.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 12.02.2024)

Light rain/thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Nuapada, Angul.
