Several parts of Odisha are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall for two days, starting on Wednesday, under the influence of an active western disturbance, informed Regional Meteorological Centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD).

As per the forecast by the IMD, rainfall is likely to occur in interior Odisha today and coastal belts tomorrow under the impact of the western disturbance.

One or two places of Jharuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur and Deogarh districts may receive light rainfall on Wednesday, said the Met Centre at Bhubaneswar.

Similarly, light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur tomorrow, added the weather office.

 

 

One or two places of Sonepur, Bolangir, Boudh, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khordha and Puri might also receive thundershower on Thursday.

Thereafter, dry weather is very likely to prevail in the State for two days. i.e. on February 11 and 12. The minimum temperature (Night Temperature) is very likely to fall by 3 to 4 degree Celsius from February 11, added the Met Centre.
