The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued thunderstorm and heavy rainfall alert for several districts in Odisha.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is also likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of South Odisha in the next 24 hours, predicted IMD.
