The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted a rise in maximum temperature in Odisha after two days. However, several parts of Odisha will continue to experience thunderstorm activities till April 11, 2025.
The IMD has also issued a yellow alert for thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph in some parts of Odisha in the next two to three days.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Sonepur, Angul, Cuttack.
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri.
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning with very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of South Odisha and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha ,Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
