Rain to lash Odisha districts till December 6, says IMD

Several parts of Odisha are currently experiencing rainfall activities for the past couple of days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday predicted that several districts of the state will continue to experience light to moderate rainfall activities in the next few days.

As per the latest weather update, light to moderate rain is likely to lash several districts in Odisha till December 6, 2024.

Meanwhile, standing crops in several parts have been affected by the unseasonal rain that lashed the state under the influence of cyclonic storm Fengal.

Weather Forecast

Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 03.12.2024): Light to moderate rain very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Kandhamal, Koraput, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Nabarangpur.

Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 03.12.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 04.12.2024): Light rain very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri.

Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 04.12.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 05.12.2024): Light rain very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri.

Day 4 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 05.12.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 06.12.2024): Light rain very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati.
