Winter chill is once again set to shiver Odisha after a brief spell of overcast condition. The Regional Meterological Centre of the IMD, Bhubaneswar has informed that the minimum temperature is expected to dip in Odisha by 3 to 4 Degree Celsius within next 48 hours.

As per the latest update from the meteorological bureau, the weather is likely to return to normal in 3 to 4 days.

The minimum temperature would be around 20 degrees Celsius in the Capital City Bhubaneswar Today.

According to the IMD forecast, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rain and thunderstorm activity today in the southern Odisha districts like Ganjam and Gajapati. 

On Thursday, moderate rainfall alert was also issued by the IMD for some coastal districts of Odisha, which include Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur apart from Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Raygada, and Kandhamal.

Due to a trough across the Southwest Bay of Bengal to North Bay of Bengal in lower levels, several districts of the State witnessed moderate rainfall on Thursday. 

The weather department has forecast isolated to scattered rainfall over some districts of the State today. However, the weather will gradually get drier from today, according to the IMD.
