The winter chill seems to have made a comeback in Odisha as a drop in the morning and night temperatures is being witnessed across the State.

For the last four to five days, a relatively dip in the mercury in the mornings and nights is being recorded across the State with the day remaining hot. A slight increase in the day temperature has been recorded since Monday.

According to the information shared by the weather department, the cold will gradually decrease in the coming days.

“Minimum temperature (night temperature) very likely to rise slightly around 2 degrees Celsius during next 2 days and no large change thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha” read the IMD’s tweet.

This apart, the day temperature is very likely to increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

The weathermen forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail over the State during the next five days.
