Normal life across Odisha has been thrown out of gear under the intense cold spell that is currently prevailing for the past few days. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the night temperature (minimum temperature) dropped to below 10 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

G. Udaygiri in Kandhamal district recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 5 degrees yesterday.

Temperature Across Odisha

Phulbani: 7 Degrees C

Angul and Koraput: 8 Degrees C

Keonjhar and Rourkela: 8.6 Degrees C

The Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded a minimum temperature of 13 degrees C each.

The IMD said there will be no large change in the minimum temperature (Night temperature) at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next two days and it is likely to rise thereafter by 2-3 degrees Celsius at many places over the districts of Odisha. The minimum temperature is very likely to be below normal by 2-3 degrees C at a few places over the districts of Odisha during the next two days.
