Odisha districts to experience heavy rainfall in coming days: IMD

Several parts of Odisha will continue to experience rainfall activities under the influence of a cyclonic circulation. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that the cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining north Odisha now lies over Jharkhand and neighbourhood.

As per the IMD's forecast issued on Friday, the monsoon trough now passes through Bikaner, Jaipur, Guna, Satna, Pendra Road, Balasore and thence southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal.

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak.

Day 4 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 10.07.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 11.07.2023)

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Nabarangapur, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore.

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh.
