There will be no major change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next 4 to 5 days in Odisha, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday.
As per the forecast, the people in different parts of Odisha will experience cooler nights during early morning and night hours while there is probability of rise in day or maximum temperature. The IMD has predicted dense fog in several parts of Odisha in the next two days.
A yellow warning for dense fog has also been issued for some districts of the state.

Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 03.02.2025): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal.
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal.
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 03.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 04.02.2025)
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Khordha, Ganjam.
Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 04.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 05.02.2025): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kendrapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam.
