The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted a rise in the minimum temperature in Odisha. Currently, several districts of the state are experiencing colder conditions for the past couple of days.

As per the IMD, the minimum temperature (night temperature) is likely to rise gradually by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, and no large change thereafter.

Apart from this, several districts of Odisha are likely to experience rain or thundershower activities as well.

Light rain/thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Bolangir, Boudh, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak.

Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 12.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 13.02.2024)

Light rain/thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.
