IMD issues dense fog alert for Odisha districts
The minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to fall by 2 to 3 degree C during the next 24 hours and no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday.
Though dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha, several districts will experience shallow to moderate fog in the next two to three days.

Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 09.02.2025): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at a few places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajpati, Khordha, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhmal, Koraput, Malkangiri.
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajpati, Khordha, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhmal, Koraput, Malkangiri.
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 09.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 10.02.2025)
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhmal, Nayagarh, Ganjam.
Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 10.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 11.02.2025): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at one or two places over the district of Kalahandi, Sundargarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati.
