For the past couple of days, Odisha districts are experiencing a rise in the day temperature. After Malkangiri, Paralakhemundi recorded a maximum temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius on Friday.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted a slight rise in the maximum temperature by 2 degrees Celsius in Odisha during the next two days and no major change thereafter.

Apart from this, there would be no large change in the minimum temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days, said IMD. Similarly, some districts in the state are also likely to experience light/moderate rain or thundershower activities in the next three days.

Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 04.03.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 05.03.2024)

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore.
