Several parts of Odisha are experiencing enhanced rainfall activities under the influence of the low-pressure area that formed over the Northwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts on Tuesday.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that the system is very likely to move nearly westwards across south Odisha and south Chhattisgarh during the next 24 hours.

Moreover, a trough runs from cyclonic circulation associated with the above low-pressure area to southeast Uttar Pradesh across Odisha and Chhattisgarh in lower tropospheric levels.
