Low pressure likely around September 23 under the influence of cyclonic circulation: IMD

An upper air cyclonic circulation is likely over the north Andaman Sea and the neighbourhood around September 21, 2024.

It is likely to move north-westwards and under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the northwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal around September 23, 2024.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted thunderstorms with lightning and heavy rainfall in some parts of Odisha in the coming days.
