Low pressure forms over NE Bay of Bengal off Myanmar coast: IMD

As per the IMD, the low pressure area is likely become a well-marked low pressure area during the next 24 hours.

Low Pressure

A low pressure area has formed over northeast Bay of Bengal off Myanmar coast, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.  The low pressure has been formed under the influence of a cyclonic circulation which lies over south Chhattisgarh and adjoining Odisha.

As per the IMD, the low pressure area is likely become a well-marked low pressure area during the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the cyclonic circulation over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh and neighbourhood has become less marked.

As per IMD, there will be no large change in the maximum temperature (Day temperature) at many places over the districts of Odisha during next 4-5 days. 

The maximum temperature very likely to be above normal by 3-5 degree C at a few places over the districts of Odisha.  Hot and discomfort weather is likely to prevail during the next four days.
