Low pressure formed due to cyclonic circulation to intensify into depression in 2 to 3 days: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday informed that the low pressure area is likely to move slowly northwards and intensify into a depression during next 2-3 days.

Under the influence of cyclonic circulation over coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining west central Bay of Bengal (BoB), a low pressure area had formed over westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh- south Odisha Coast.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday informed that the low pressure area is likely to move slowly northwards and intensify into a depression during next 2-3 days.

Apart from this, a cyclonic circulation lies over northwest Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Haryana tilting southwestwards with height up to mid tropospheric level.
