Several districts in Odisha are experiencing intense heat and thunderstorm activities for the past couple of days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted that there will be no large change in the maximum temperature over the districts of Odisha.

The maximum temperature is likely to be around 42 degree Celsius at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha during next five days.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khordha.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput.
