The well-marked low-pressure area over north Chhattisgarh adjoining northeast Madhya Pradesh-southeast Uttar Pradesh has weakened into a low-pressure area over northeast Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted that light to moderate rainfall activities will continue in different parts of Odisha.

Moreover, there will be a rise in thunderstorm activities in different districts of the state from August 6, 2023.
