After a brief gap and change in weather conditions, the people in different parts of Odisha on Friday experienced heat and humid conditions. However, no major respite seems to be on the cards as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a further rise in the maximum temperature.

As per IMD, the maximum temperature (day temperature) is likely to gradually rise by 2-4 degrees C in the subsequent 4 to 5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha.

The IMD has also issued a yellow warning for hot and humid conditions in several parts of the state. A similar warning has also been issued for thunderstorm activities in several districts.
