IMD predicts rain, thunderstorm in several Odisha districts; check latest forecast

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and thundershower activities in several parts of Odisha in the coming days. The IMD further informed that there would be no large change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) at several places over the districts of Odisha during the next four to five days.

A yellow warning for dense fog has also been issued for some districts for the next three days.

Light rain\thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Boudh.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khordha, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul.

Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 21.01.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 22.01.2024)

Light rain\thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khordha, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Puri, Ganjam, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Sonepur, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Angul.

Light rain\thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jharsuguda.
